Lily Of The Valley Challenge 62-Lets Go Dotty

I decided to enter another competition today. This time for LOTV Thursday's Challenge 62 - Lets Go Dotty

As you can probably guess they wanted lots of circles! I used My Minds Eye - Quite Contrary papers and Lily of The Valley - Tiptoe Fairy stamp. I coloured her in with promarkers and layered her using nestabilities.

Thanks for looking!

Sketch 7 Challenge

Hi today I have made a card for the Craftwork Cards Sketch 7 Challenge.

It is the first time I have entered a competition so here goes!
I made it using bits and bobs from my Craftwork Cards stash. I have been a big fan of their products since I began crafting.

Busy! Busy!

I have been very busy catching up with card orders this week.
Here are a few to show you!

I made this card using my favourite wedding stamp set by "inkadinkado" (as far as I can remember I bought it a long time ago!) I was unsure about the blue and white colour scheme but it turned out really well in the end.

This cute character from a "penny black" stamp set works really well for mens cards I think!
coloured him using promarkers and added a little distressing ink to match the background paper.

This one was made using a piece of "Sei" backing paper and a "marianne design" butterfly die. Simple but effective!

Fantasy Tree

The "Fantasy Tree" stamp by Penny Black is one of my favourite stamps. It was recommended to me by Mandy from Gifts From The Heart craft shop. It is so versatile as it can be used for almost any occasion. Here are a couple of cards I have used it for recently.

For this one I stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia then distressed the edges using Frayed Burlap and used a Brilliance Pearlescent Olive to stamp the hearts.

For this one I distressed the edges with Frayed Burlap and Wild Honey. I made the letters using Woodware Tiny Frames and Alphabet stamp set. The balloons were made using a paper punch.
 Hope you like them!

Welcome to my Blog

Thanks for visiting. I have been interested in creating a blog for some time now, to hopefully meet like minded crafters so here goes!

Today I have just finished working on my friends wedding invitations. They wanted a Beatles album cover look, so I created them using the Bootle font (a free download!) and kept the design simple with a retro black and white theme.
