LOTV Challenge 67- Sketch by Bev

For this weeks challenge I have gone for a purple theme with Lili of the Valley stamp - Teddy with Flower.

I coloured the image with Promarkers. The backing papers are K&Company - Sparkly Sweet. Sentiment and card candy from Craftwork cards. 

Totally Gorjuss Challenge 49 - Christmas

This is my first entry at Totally Gorjuss. The theme this week is christmas!

I have used a Lili of the Valley die cut. The papers are from a Pepper & Friends xmas paper pack. I used a Quickie Glue pen and Glamour dust for her hat and Glossy Accents and Glamour dust for the flower.

Easel Calendar

Hi I thought I had better start making some christmas cards, as there are only 89 days left apparently! It still sounds a long way off but I am sure it will fly by. I got some 2011 calendar's from hobbycraft the other day so I thought I would have a go at an easel card calendar, as I have seen them around and think they make a great christmas gift.

  

The stamp is by Sarah Kay and as always coloured with promarkers. I did decoupage her coat and hat but it does not show up on the photograph unfortunately.

The backing papers are from a Pepper and Friends christmas paper pack. I used an EK success border punch, the snowflakes are a cuttlebug die and the swirls are Marianne Designs. Thanks for looking!

LOTV-Challenge 66

Here is my entry for this weeks LOTV Challenge. The theme is an untraditional christmas card, so I decided to go with orange and blue!

I have used one of Lili Of The Valleys new christmas die cuts along with various backing papers from my stash, a cuttlebug die (stars) and embossing folder. Hope you like it!

New Arrival!

We have just had a new addition to the family. Baby Kai is our new Great Nephew! Here is a card I have made to congratulate the proud parents.

The image is a Lili Of The Valley stamp coloured with promarkers. I have used circle nesties, Craftwork Cards card blank, backing paper by Craft Creations and card stock from my stash.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 44-Lilians Sketch

Hi today I decided to take part in The Sugar Bowl Challenge 44. It is the first time I have entered one of their competitions!

I used Sugar Nellie "Rock Star" stamp, coloured with promarkers of course! I used a music cuttlebug embossing folder for the background along with various different pieces of card stock from my stash. Then I distressed the edges with Versafine "Smokey Grey" to finish it off.

Daisy-4 Drawer Card

I love unusual shaped cards and had seen several cards made with drawers built in and wondered how it was done. After lots of searching I found instructions for this one at Scor-Pal in their metric projects section. I was amazed at how easy it actually was to make, once I knew how and adapted it by making it an easel card as I thought it worked better than a flat card!

The image is  "Daisy" sugar nellie stamp which I coloured using Promarkers. The papers are from a "Forever Friends" paper pack, flowers from my stash and the handles are Tim Holtz "hitch fasteners".

I love the fact that it is such a useful item that could be used for storing earrings etc.

LOTV Challenge 65-Sketch by Lena Katrine

When I first saw the sketch for this weeks LOTV Challenge I thought it looked very complicated and thought I would struggle, but I really enjoyed making this card and think it has turned out ok. Thats what I love about their challenges it gets me making cards I would never have thought of otherwise.

I used a LOTV die cut of course!, backing papers are "My Minds Eye" (I think) and I also used a variety of different card stock and flowers from my stash. Hope you like it!

Glamour Puss

I was asked to make a special card for someones 70th birthday, who loves cats and her garden. I was asked to find a cartoon cat and I thought this glamorous cat by Kanban was purrfect!! I have used Bazzil card, a cuttlebug embossing folder, a marianne design die, nestabilities and some glitter card. 

LOTV Challenge 64-One for the boys

For this weeks LOTV competition I decided to use one of their fabulous die cuts instead of a stamp for a change.

I created the background and extra large football! using a football stamp onto bazzil card stock and some backing paper from my stash. I created the letters using woodware's tiny frames and alphabet set.

  

Lili of The Valley - Challenge 63

This is my entry for this weeks Lili of The Valley Challenge.

I decided to go for an orange theme with this one as I had not tried it with this stamp before. The backing papers are "My Minds Eye" I think but could be wrong! Hope you like it!
