Hi everyone, I have some exciting news to share today, I have been chosen as one of the new DT members over at Ready Teddy Go! Can't wait to meet everyone... although I do know a couple of you already, LOL! ... and looking forward to working with you all!

Some more good news to share too... it seems I have reached that elusive 100 followers! I shall be offering up some candy to celebrate real soon to thank you all for your continued support, I never thought I would ever have so many followers when I first started this blog let alone be on a couple of design teams! Thank you all for making me so welcome in blogland!

Anyway I guess I better show you my card as that is what you are here for... I have a Teddy Bo for you today. I have followed this fab sketch from The Sketchy Challenges for this one:

It is my Hubby's birthday soon and he loves his photography so this image was perfect!

I do love this sketch, I teamed him up with some left over papers from a My Minds Eye - Stella Rose paper pad. I also used a Craftwork Cards sentiment, added a bit of doodling, some faux stitching and a Lili Of The Valley ticket stamp!

I coloured the image with Copics as usual. I am also entering this one into:

Hi everyone, the other day I was asked to make a card with a Hamster on it and I thought where on earth am I going to find one of those! But after a bit of Googling I discovered that surprisingly there are quite a few out there including this little sweetie from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop!

I used this great sketch from Sketch N Stash Challenge too:

I teamed him up with my New Daydream paper pad by First Edition and some peach card stock. I coloured the image with Copics and added a little bit of Glamour Dust to match the glittery paper. I used an EK Success border punch, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and some Woodware alphabet stamps.

I hope he doesn't eat any more cake or his cheeks might pop, LOL!

Another Fluffy Cupcake!

Hi everyone and a big hello to my new followers, so glad you could join me!

When I saw this great sketch by Mary J over at Quixotic Inspirations Challenge I knew it would be perfect for a 30th birthday card request I had recently featuring Cupcakes and Music.

I decided to go with a twisted easel and I used my favourite Torico Cupcake from Birdie Brown again and I found a free music sheet whilst browsing!

The papers are very old and unknown I'm afraid, I coloured the image with Copics and lots of Flower Soft (as you all seemed to love my last fluffy cupcake), the stars are Nesties, the border punch is Fiskars and the Numbers are a Sizzix Azure alphabet set.

Sorry for the bad pics it was a bit dark when I took them!

Hello again everyone, I had an email from the lovely Faye over at Cupcake Craft Challenges a few weeks ago asking me if I would like to be a GDT for the month of March again and of course I said yes!!

So here is my first GDT card for them, the theme this week is Boys & Their Toys!

It is my Great Nephews birthday shortly so I took the opportunity to make this one for him. He loves playing on his Xbox and I got this great image a while back from Spesch Stamps which fitted perfectly! The digi papers are from Cupcake Cards And Crafts and I wrote the Xbox symbols onto Craftwork Cards Candy using a white gel pen to look like the controller buttons.

Hi everyone, so glad it's Friday only half a day of work left tomorrow and then I can chill.. or craft maybe! After all the pink fluffiness of my last post I thought I would post something more subdued today. I needed a card for a friend of mine who is retired and he spends a lot of time at home with his dog so I thought this great Digistamp Boutique image was just the job!

I coloured the image with Copics and the papers are First Edition - Up Up and Away.

Fluffy Cupcake Anyone?

Hi everyone, what a gorgeous day it's been today. I have been out and about all day and didn't even need a coat!! It is a bit worrying though to have such good weather in February, it should still be snowing, lol!

Anyway my card today is for this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge, they are looking for Pink Fluffy Cupcakes and I think this one fits the bill!

The papers are embarrassingly old but worked well for this pink creation. The gorgeous cupcake is another Torico digi image from her Birdie Brown Etsy store. I coloured it with Copics then added lots of Flower Soft, Glossy Accents and Glamour Dust to fluff it up and a bit of faux stitching and ribbon from my stash to finish. I created the sentiment using a white opaque gel pen and some snippets of card, I got the idea from the fabulous Mary J.

Looks good enough to eat I think...not!!

Hi everyone, I am here with my DT card for Divas By Design this week as it's Team C's turn and the theme is Bling It Up!

I decided to make one of my favourite handbag cards for this one.

For those of you who have not seen one before click Here!! for a link to the tutorial!

I made this for my Sisters 40th birthday so it needed plenty of bling! The gorgeous glittery paper is by K& Company but I am afraid I have no idea who makes the other! I added faux stitching to all the purple panels using my EK Success Cutter Bee Bug and an Inkssentials Opaque Pen (which I really regretted by the time I got to the 17th panel!!), the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards, the leaf is a Marianne Design Die cut out with Glitter Paper and my Very First, Successful! rolled flower is an MFT Die!

There is just enough room inside to make a little box to hold a Pandora charm box, which was her gift. The gorgeous little Ellie is by Teddy Bo coloured with Copics and a little Stickles. There is also a Happy 40th panel inside which I forgot to photograph, whoops!

Sorry for the pic overdose but they are really hard to photograph!

Hi everyone, this weeks LIM Challenge - Punches/or Die Cuts certainly got my imagination going. I decided to be unseasonal and go for a Christmas card as I have a few lovely Christmas dies.

This was sooo hard to photograph, so apologies for the bad pic!

I used two circle Nestabilities. a Cuttlebug Snow embossing folder and the houses and tree are a Marianne Design. I added lots of Glossy Accents and Stickles and the sentiment I found in my stash. Simple but effective, well it is in real life, LOL!

Now whilst looking through my dies for these ones another idea popped into my head for a more seasonal one! I picked up my MFT fence die and some Marianne Design flowers and leaves and came up with this:

Morning everyone, hope you all had a great weekend! I have made another card using one of Toricos fabulous images from her Birdie Brown Etsy shop. I followed the fabulous sketch by Bettina at The Sketchy Challenges.

I decided this image was perfect for a get well card, the sentiment is computer generated. I coloured the image with Copics and added a little Glossy Accents and Glamour Dust to the rain. I cropped and copied a few rain drops for the background too! The papers are leftovers from my stash so I don't know who they are by sorry!

I also added my usual faux stitching!

Hi everyone and hello to my new followers, so glad you have come to join me! Sorry for the lack of posts this week but my mojo did a disappearing act, I think I am over tired, LOL! I am back today though with an Engagement card which a friend requested. This weeks fab sketch over at Sketch N Stash was perfect for this one...

... along with this Teddy Bo engagement image I picked up the other day.

So I have used my New image, my fairly New First Edition paper pad and my New XCut Heart Dies. I coloured the image with Copics, the border punch is an old EK Success one and the embossing is an old Cuttlebug folder. I added some Glossy Accents and Glamour Dust to the ring (it has to be a sparkler!) and to finish off, my trusty faux stitching and a scrap of ribbon from my stash.

Morning everyone, I really don't know where the weekends go! It seems to constantly be Monday morning again! Well I suppose if we didn't spend all weekend crafting it might help, LOL!

Now over at Sweet Stampin Challenge this week they have a Clean & Simple theme and you know I love CAS cards so this was an easy one for me.

I am hoping this is my last romantic card for a while I am getting a little fed up of hearts and flowers, I need a change!

I used an old favourite Lili Of The Valley image for this one coloured with Copics then simply layered up with some red card stock and added a Woodware sentiment and some Glossy Accents!

Hi everyone, another romantic card for you today. I was asked to make a card at the last minute for a Valentines Day Anniversary so I decided to use another fab Teddy Bo image and go with a circular theme.

As I have already made one for this couple in traditional red & white I thought I would be more colourful this time. The image is coloured with Copics and the papers are First Edition - Up Up & Away. I added some faux stitching and the clouds are an MFT die.

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a good weekend so far! I am hoping for a nice relaxing crafting one as I have finally got on top of my orders for now. This evening I have been having a go at this weeks LIM Challenge which is One Layer and Stripes, YIKES!!! I had a rummage through my stamp drawer and found a little set of unused border stamps (have no idea who makes them) one of which was just perfect and these are what I came up with...

...very simples but effective I think! I used a selection of Brilliance pearlescent ink pads, some Hero arts sentiments, a star template I made using a Nestie and a touch of Glamour Dust.

Morning everyone! It's Make It Monday Linky Party time and I have another fabulous freebie!! from Torico at Birdie Brown to share with you today. I loved this image as soon as I saw it and couldn't wait to use it! Get yours HERE!

This image would not fit into an oval so I printed two images, cut one out as a circle and one as an oval and layered them up to fit the sketch, hope you can tell from the pic but here is a close up incase;

I went for a Blue & White theme to fit in with Winter Wonderlands Challenge theme this week and also as an excuse to use my new First Edition - Up Up & Away paper pack! I coloured the image with Copics and added some faux stitching for a change (sorry but I can't seem to make a card without it lately), I also added a touch of stickles to the flowers. The thinking cloud is from my new XCut speech bubble die set.

Puppy Love!

Hi everyone, hope none of you have been snowed in! It seems to be clearing here now thankfully though I do quite like it myself.

Well I have had a busy week making cards for orders and not managed to post much but I am back with this little cutie today. Over at Totally Papercrafts Friday Challenges they have this great sketch:

I flipped it round and with this card being for a man I changed the bow for a sentiment, hope thats ok!

Sorry the pic is a bit dark, I always find red hard to photograph. The gorgeous image is from Digistamp Boutique and I added Glossy Accents to the heart, I kept the colour scheme simple as it is for my boss's husband (they love dogs). I also added my usual faux stitching using my EK success Cutter Bee Bug and a Black fine liner pen and finished with a bit of Craftwork Cards Card Candy.

My 1st DT Card For Divas!!

Morning everyone, today I have my very first DT card for Divas By Design to share with you all!

I was lucky enough to get to play with one of Tickled Pinks gorgeous images called Lolita Kellita!

I cropped the image to fit my design and coloured her with Copics and teamed her up with some fab Cupcake Cards and Crafts digi papers. I used a Fiskars border punch for the edging and a Craftwork Cards sentiment and Card Candy. Then finished off with some faux stitching and glittery flowers which I found in my stash!

I really struggle with hair normally but I was really pleased how hers turned out. I also added a little Glossy accents to her lips!

Hi everyone, I have something a bit retro for you all today! Over at Sketch N Stash this week you can choose any one of their fabulous sketches, I chose this one...

... and I was asked to make a card for someone with a Lava Lamp!! At first I thought where on earth am I going to find one of those from but after a bit of web searching I found this fabulous free digital stamp from Beyond the Fringe Crafts.

I coloured my new image with Copics and added lots of Glossy accents to make it look more authentic. I then teamed it up with some of my new Cupcake Cards and Crafts digi papers (a bit loud aren't they!) and some old black card from my stash.

The sentiment is computer generated. I am also entering this into Make It Monday Linky Party!

Silly Kitty!!!

Hi everyone, Brrr it's a chilly one today but at least we have no snow here yet!

I have another circular creation to share today using another gorgeous Bugaboo stamp I picked up recently. I realised that I had made cards for my friends little girl from everyone apart from me, LOL!

She is a proper girly girl as you can probably tell from my previous posts so it had to be pink, They also have two cats one of which is a very mischievous kitten which is why I chose this fab image!

I made the card base using Grand Nesties, the fence is an MFT die, the clouds and speech bubble are from a new XCut die set I bought the other day and will be getting a lot of use from I think! and the flowers are an old paper punch with Liquid Pearls in the centres. I coloured Kitty with Copics and added Glossy Accents and Glamour Dust to her balloon. The sentiment is computer generated and the papers are Cupcake Cards and Crafts digi papers.

I just have a quick card I wanted to share with you all today. I found this fab image via Mary J's blog recently which is a freebie, yes a freebie!! by Torico - Birdie Brown. You can pick yours up from her Blog here!

I just love this image though I am not overly pleased with my colouring of it, I just couldn't seem to get it right! The paper is from a First edition paper pack called Daydream and the hearts are an old paper punch. The top sentiment is computer generated and the other came with the image.

Hi everyone! I have some exciting news to share with you all today. The uber talented Rebekah from Divas By Design asked me to join her amazing DT team recently and of course I said yes immediately! I am so thrilled to be joining them as I have never been on a DT team before and have wanted to since I first started blogging! There is a fab sketch to follow this week so hop on over and join in!

Now my card today was inspired by another uber talented lady... Mary J. She makes the most amazing circular cards and it looks like I am not the only one who thinks so. If you pop over to Sally's blog you will see her fabulous take on one too.

I have made this one for my Hubby for valentines as he loves monkeys and I wanted to use a different colour scheme instead of the traditional red & white. My friends little girl is 4 soon and she loves going to ballet classes so when I saw this gorgeous image over at Bugaboo Stamps I just had to get it for her.

Morning all, day off for me today woohoo! It's a bit wet out there but much warmer, for now at least!

Now I have another sketch today this time from Simon says Stamp Challenge:

I seem to have a serious lack of Anniversary type cards in my stash and with valentines around the corner I decided to go with a romantic theme for this one.

I use done of my old fave Penny Black hedgies coloured with Copics and went with a simple red & white colour scheme. The buttons are a Marianne Design die covered with Glossy Accents, The circles are Nesties and the hearts are actually cut out from a piece of sheer fabric I kept from something ages ago and knew it would come in useful one day. I cut out the hearts from it and stuck them onto card to stop them fraying. The sentiment is by Hero Arts and the ribbon was a prize from The Ribbon Girls a while ago. I also did a bit of doodling around the edges to finish it off!

Hi everyone, hope you have all kept warm indoors on this super chilly day, brrr! I have spent most of the day crafting, trying to catch up with everything.

Now before I show you my card for today I was wondering if any of you out there would be interested in buying my ProMarker collection. Since getting my Copics I find I just never use them. I have about 80 altogether, some are well used others hardly at all but they are all in working order. I am looking to sell them for £40. I have been meaning to enter one of their challenges since they started up but I just haven't had chance till now! This gorgeous image is a freebie from a digi stamp store called MilkCoffee which I found through Mary J. they have a blog too which you will find here! I coloured her with Copics and used some more Cupcake Cards & Crafts digi paper. The sentiment is computer generated and I punched out the little flowers and butterflies.

She is so cute don't you think!

Birds On A Wire!

Hi everyone, just a quick post today as we are busy this evening. Over at Less is More this week the theme is One Layer and Birds. I remembered that I had a great bird stamp set by Dovecraft that I had not used before so I had a rummage, inked one up and came up with this:

I also used my new MFT cloud die cuts as templates to create the background. I used Vintage Sepia Versafine for stamping and coloured the rest with Copics. I added a little Glossy Accents to their eyes too for some dimension. I really liked how this turned out in the end, you should see how many got binned in the process, LOL!

Hi everyone! I am so glad it's Friday, only half a days work tomorrow and then I can chill at last!

Now it's Teddy Bo's Challenge 1st Birthday and they have a fab blog hop going on and a great sale too. I had a browse and found this gorgeous image which I just had to have and seeing as Spots & Stripes seems to be a popular theme this week I added them too!

I found these very old papers in my bottom drawer (I think I bought them when I first started crafting) which worked perfectly for the theme. I coloured this super cute image with Copics, added some faux stitching, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and Candy. I added the spots to her dress using a white opaque pen for extra spottiness, LOL!

I wish my kitty would let me cuddle her like that!

Chirp Up!

Hi everyone! I am happy to say that the vet is pleased with Lara's eye so far, she has to go back in a week for another look and it will probably never heal completely but at least she still has her eye, thank goodness!

Now for today I have made a little card to help cheer up a friend who has had an operation on her foot this week, poor thing! I have used my fab New digi image I got from Pink Petticoat in their sale!

I also used my New digi papers from Cupcake Cards & Craft again (sorry) and a mixture of Marianne Design Dies & Nesties! I then added some faux stitching, a couple of gems & voila!

Hi, I can't believe it's Monday already! Where do the weekends go? Anyway one good thing about Mondays is it's Make It Monday Linky Party time!

Today I have an unusual card, for me anyway. I think this is the first time I have ever made a card without matting every layer and I have to say I quite like it. Over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge the theme is Case It! You have to use this card from Beth, one of the DT members as inspiration:

You can use whatever aspect from it you choose. I chose to use it as a sketch!

I used my old favourite Penny Black frog and some more papers from Cupcake Card and Craft (getting addicted to these I think). I coloured the mage with Copics and then another first for me I added some doodling to follow the original sketch! The stars are a Nestie and the gems are from my stash. I have to say I really enjoyed making this one.

The sentiment is computer generated by the way!

Hi everyone, I know two posts in one day, that doesn't happen very often these days! I have been trying to catch up today but only managed to make three cards! It's better than none though I suppose.

Over at The Sketchy Challenges this week they have this great sketch to follow...

and over at Gem Of A Challenge Rebekah has this photo inspiration:

So I decided to combine the two along with Winter Wonderlands Challenge theme of Shopping and came up with this:

The pink is not quite so bright in real life, LOL! I dug out this old Stamposaurus - I Love To Shop stamp and coloured it with Copics and I used some more Cupcake Cards and Craft digi papers. I used a Nestie for the stars. The paperclip is from my stash and the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards.

I think I should of made her trousers a different colour (a bit of a pink overdose!) but it's done now.

New Handbag!

Hi everyone, firstly I would like to say a big thank you for all your get well messages for Lara. She and been back to the vets and something has torn her eye. At the moment they don't think it has gone as deep as they first thought but there is a high risk of infection setting in. She has to go back again tomorrow to see if it is showing any signs of healing and if not she might have to see an eye specialist.

I would also like to say a big hello to my new followers of late. I have been so preoccupied I forgot to welcome you all, sorry.

Well I have a LIM creation for you all today. I have not entered a LIM Challenge for ages due to Christmas etc. So I thought it was high time I got back into it, the theme this week is Predominantly Purple.

I used this fabulous digi image from Pink Petticoat, coloured with Copics and a touch of Glamour Dust on the flowers. I found a scrap piece of purple card and edged it with a fiskars border punch, then added some ribbon from my stash. Very simples but hopefully effective!

Sorry for the poor pics, not good light today! It looks much more colour co-ordinated in real life!

New Beginnings!

Hi, hope you are all well on this super windy day! I have had a busy start to the new year and my poor little cat Lara had a trip to the vets yeaterday. Something has punctured her eye and there is a risk she could lose it! She is on lots of medication and has to go back tomorrow evening for the verdict so please keep your fingers crossed for her. Here is a little pic of her, I don't think I have ever shown you her before.

Anyway you came here to look at cards not cats. It seems all the challenges at the mo are focused on Something New so I have a New Baby card to share today!

I have used lots of new things for this one. My adorable new Lili of the Valley stamp, my new Gingham Digi Paper from Cupcake Cards and Crafts and my new paper doily which I picked up at a local craft shop. I coloured with Copics and added some ribbon, stickles and gems from my stash and some faux stitching for a change, LOL!

I opted for yellow to make it universal instead of the usual pink or blue!

Christening Bear!

Hi everyone, well that's it my holidays are officially over. It's back to work as normal for me tomorrow. I do wish I could have time off more often but I suppose that wouldn't pay the bills, or fund our craft habits, LOL!

Now I have a Christening card for you all today, I have been invited to one this weekend and I found this great image from The Chart Shop called Christening Rosie earlier today and had to have it!

Little Chlöe is almost walking now so I thought this little cutie worked perfectly. I followed the great sketch over at Sketch And Stash and as well as the new image I added some old Craft Creations dotty paper and a little cross I found in my neglected stash drawer. I coloured the image with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated.

Hi everyone, hope you all going to have a fabulous New Years Eve. We are off to some friends for a takeaway and a drink or two!

Now the uber talented Debby has asked us to share our favourite 5 cards from 2011 with a chance to win some fab goodies. I found this incredibly difficult. I got it down to 10 quite easily but 5!!

This was my very first handbag card, I love these and have made several since but the 1st is always special!

This was another 1st for me and I was so pleased how it turned out!

I really enjoyed making this one, I just loved the papers!

This is one of favourite images and I loved it so much I have not given it to anyone yet!

I don't really know why but I just love this one!

Morning everyone, well it's my day off today and guess what...it's pouring with rain, typical! Oh well I suppose I will could always go sale shopping to keep dry, LOL! Anyway hope you are all well, I have a nice sunny spring coloured card to brighten up the day today,

I love this little sweet little image from Lili Of The Valley and the sentiment is lovely don't you think. I coloured it with Copics and followed this weeks great sketch over at Papertake Weekly.

The papers are from two different Cosmo Cricket paper pads but I think they work well together. I used my Fiskars border punch for the edging and then finished with a bit of card candy.

Hi there, well it was back to work for me today but I have got tomorrow off so can't grumble really! For todays card I have followed the fabulous sketch over at Sketch and Stash, another unusual one but really enjoyed working with it.

Sorry it's a bit bright, I am still getting to grips with my camera. In real life it is a lovely shade of orange! I have used this great image from Pollycraft which has been very neglected. I have had it for ages and this is the first time I have used it (shame on me). I coloured him with Copics and used a neglected Nestie die to frame him. I went for a plain background as nothing else seemed to work and the sentiment is computer generated.

Musical Notes!

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We had a great time but boy was I shattered by the end of the day. Why is it that it takes all day to cook Christmas dinner and 5 minutes to eat it! I do wonder if it's worth it!

Anyway I had a new camera for Christmas (to stop me using my Hubby's very expensive one I think, LOL!) so you will have to bear with me while I learn how to use it properly.

I have something a bit different for you today, over at The Sketchy Challenges they have a very unusual sketch to follow so I decided to not use any images with this one.

I was asked to make a musical card for someone and this seemed like the perfect sketch for the job. I stuck all the strips together and then ran it through my Cuttlebug Music embossing folder, added a couple of Cuttlebug notes and a computer sentiment.

Teddy Bea Birthday!

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and looking forward to Christmas, only 4 more sleeps to go, LOL! It's my last day off tomorrow so I will be busy getting my last minute shopping done then will finally finish work at 2:00pm on Christmas Eve, yay!

Now I have another Teddy Bo to share with you today, I can see me getting addicted to these guys. The Teddy Bo Challenge at the moment is to use the colours of your birthstone. Mine is Rose for October and this is what I came up with:

The image is from a set of Teddy Bo/Bea tabs, I cropped and enlarged one of them to fit this great sketch from Cupcake Crafts Challenge. The papers are First Edition I think and I added some faux stitching and some wooden flowers. I coloured the image with Copics and the sentiment is by Woodware.

Mistletoe Kisses!

Hi everyone, thank you for all your lovely comments. I am glad to say we are both feeling much better now so should be 100% by christmas (fingers crossed). I think I am just about ready for the big day, just the usual food shop to go.

Now this is hopefully my very last Christmas card I shall be posting this year. I actually made it a few weeks back but just realised I had not yet showed it to you!

I made this one for our Nephew and his girlfriend. The fab image is from Digistamp Boutique which I have coloured with Copics. The sentiment is computer generated and to finish it off I stamped some Artemio snowflakes around the edges using a Glue Pad, then sprinkled Glamour Dust over the top. I really loved the effect!

Look Who's One!

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok! Well I said my cold would come back a vengeance and it has started, I have a really bad throat today and my voice is going. My husband went to the doctors today as he has had a cough for over a week and they think it might be a chest infection! So he is off for an x-ray tomorrow. His started with his throat so I am really hoping mine doesn't go the same way. I had one last year and ended up with pneumonia,

Anyway you didn't come here to listen to me moaning so here is my card for today!

I have followed the fab sketch over at Gem Of A Challenge, it was perfect for this 1st birthday card for my friends little girl next week. It was nice to do something without snow and snowflakes for a change. I used one of my fave images from Digi Stamp Boutique and basically paper pieced everything apart from the bear! I added some Nestie stars, some faux stitching and Liquid Pearls. The sentiment is computer generated then punched out using Stampin Up Word Window punch. I am sorry but I don't know where the papers are from.

Last Christmas Card ... maybe not!

Hi everyone! Well I have actually managed two posts in two days, been a while since that's happened hey! I have another red & white one for you today (seem to be into this combo at the mo). It should of been my very last Christmas order but then today I got asked to make two more, ahh!! I have used the fabulous Luna Bitterfrost from Pollycraft this time. I think this image is fab for those difficult teenage girls!

Sorry again for the dark pic, it's pouring down here so no light! I have followed the great sketch over at The Sketchy Challenges for this one. The image is coloured with Copics and my fave snow embossing folder has been out again, lol! The snowflakes are by Marianne Design and covered with Glossy Accents, Glamour Dust and Card Candy. The stars are Nesties and the sentiment is computer generated. It felt strange not putting merry christmas somewhere but I thought it might spoil it so I left well alone.

Last Minute Christmas!

Hi everyone, well one of these days I might actually post more than one card a week, lol! I have been busy with last minute Christmas card orders (I do wish people would give me a bit more notice sometimes). Anyway I have got one of those orders to share with you today!

I have followed the brilliant sketch over at Sketch N Stash, I have to say I was unsure about it at first but really enjoyed working with it in the end. I have used a mixture of old and new stuff for this one.

New: Pollycraft Image from the Swings and Slides collection and some Flowersoft for the snow!

Old: Cardstock, Snow Cuttlebug embossing folder, Stampin Up word window punch (name), Card candy & ribbon!

I made the corners by first cutting a triangle then running the edge through a Nestie.

The red looks very dark in the pic but not in real life, blame the lovely weather! I coloured the image with Copics by the way. I am also entering this one into:

Last Christmas ..... Card That is!

Hi everyone, I am still here, lol! I have had a manic weekend but hopefully this week will be calmer. My cold seems to have gone for now but not sure how long for, it's one of those that keeps starting and stopping so I am sure it will hit me with a vengeance one of these days.

Anyway onto to my card, yes my very last one! For me that is, I still have a few orders to complete for Christmas yet though. This one is for my wonderful hubby! I have seen this gorgeous Teddy Bo image a lot recently and I just had to have it. I am entering this one into this weeks Make It Monday Linky Party and Teddy Bo Challenge - White Christmas (a new challenge for me).

I cropped and enlarged the image to fit my design, printed it onto the centre of the background paper, embossed everything with a Cuttlebug Snow embossing folder, then added the frame afterwards. You can't tell from the pic but there is actually acetate in the window... honestly there is! I coloured the image with Copics, I used Kraft cardstock and the snowflakes and sentiment are from my stash.

I took a third piccie for this one hoping to show the acetate but I still don't think it worked!

Morning all, I think I am getting one of these colds going round at the mo! Not good when I have my works Christmas party this weekend but as long as it's just a cold I shouldn't grumble I suppose.

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok on this horrible windy day! Make It Monday Linky Party has started and I have some Christmas Frogs for you all today, aren't they fab!

One of my Sisters is a bit of a frog fanatic so I did a bit of hunting and found this great image from Pink Cat Studio. I coloured the image with Copics and added some Glossy Accents to the candy sticks. I keep seeing Mary J's amazing circular easel cards and they inspired me to have a go at one myself!

The papers and sentiment are from a Papermania pack called Mistletoe Kisses and I used a cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder for the background.

Evening all! Sorry for not being around much again this week but I have been busy doing some serious Christmas shopping! I am very nearly finished now thank goodness, I hate Christmas shopping once December hits, I get shoppers rage!. If there is such a thing, lol!

Now I have taken a break from crimbo cards today and gone for a very girly birthday card. I have followed the great sketch from Sketch n Stash Challenge 75.

I have used some very neglected stash on this one. An old Penny Black favourite, some old papers and some old gems. I have used my new Nestie though and new Tim Holtz Core dinations card stock! I coloured the image with Copics and added some Glossy Accents and Micro Beads to the icing. I have also added some faux stitching using my usual technique.

It was so nice to make something non christmassy. Thanks for looking, catch you all soon and a big warm welcome to my new followers!

My First Teddy Bo Book Card!

Evening everyone, hope you have all had a good Monday! Of course it's Make It Monday Linky Party day and I thought I would share this little creation with you. Now my Mum likes to make handmade cards too, so I always try to think of something different to make her for birthdays etc. that she won't have seen before. So for Christmas this year I decided to make her a book card!

I first saw one of these Here! with a great tutorial but it was after I saw the very talented Debby make one that it encouraged me to give one a try for myself. They really are very straightforward to make!

This is also my very first card using a Teddy Bo image and I can see now why you all love them so much. They are a dream to colour! My Mum's two favourite things are Teddy Bears and Giraffes so I could not believe my luck when I spotted this fabulous image!

I used an EK Success border punch for the pages but I am afraid I can't remember who the papers were by as I actually made it a few weeks ago! I found the verse on the internet.

I coloured the image with Copics and ran it through my Snow Cuttlebug folder. The snowflakes are a Marianne Design die, the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards and I added some distressing using a Tim Holtz distressing tool. I also inked all the edges with a Distress ink and added some faux stitching.

Sorry for the picture overdose but I am really quite proud of this one!

Two little dicky birds......!

Hi folks! Hope you are all humming that nursery rhyme now lol, I know they are not in a tree but it just popped into my head! Back to christmas again today I'm afraid, yet another one to cross off my never ending list! This time I have followed the fab sketch over at Gem Of A Challenge this week with the added extra of Stitching and a Sentiment.

I have used a great image by Pink Gem Designs as one of my friends requested a Robin & Mistletoe on her card this year. She is married so I decided to flip & duplicate the image to make a matching pair, more suitable for a couple I think! I coloured them with Copics & Glamour Dust. The papers and sentiment are from a Hot Off The Press paper pad I got free with a mag. I used my new Lacey Circles nestie and some little wooden snowflakes I found in Hobbycraft! I added the faux stitching using my usual EK Success Cutter Bee Bug & Opaque pen.

Morning all, I am off Christmas shopping today so a nice early post from me! I decided to give you all a little break from my Christmas cards and show you this little cutie from Lili Of The Valley, that I got from the NEC the other week.

It is my Sister's birthday soon and she has about 9 cats! So I think she will appreciate this sweet little kitty! I kept the whole thing very simples, I coloured the image with Copics and a touch of Glamour Dust int the rain. Though it does not show very well in the pic! The ribbon and Card stock is from my stash and the sentiment comes with the stamp.

Another Christmas Card... Sorry!

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a good week! I can't believe how quickly the weeks are going at the moment, Christmas will soon be here and I haven't really started buying presents yet, yikes!

At least everyone should get a card, I am trying to make at least one a day so I should have them all done by December, fingers crossed!

Anyway enough rambling, here is my card for today. I have followed the brilliant sketch over at Pollycraft Challenge and used one of their fabulous images called Luna Bitterfrost which I have had for ages and not used till now (shame on me)! I am really pleased with how this one turned out.

Another family card to cross off my list, this time for our little niece. I just hope none of the family have been visiting my blog lately, lol! For this one I used this fab Penny Black image that I won I in a comp a while ago but it the first time I have inked it up. I coloured the image with Copics and dug out an old neglected Cuttlebug embossing folder for the snowflakes (must use it more often). The paper is from my scraps drawer, think it's papermania. I have no idea who makes the sentiment but her name is from an old Woodware Alphabet stamp set.

I added some Glamour Dust to her wings, halo and around her name! Hope you likey and thanks for looking!

Sparkle Baby!

Evening folks! Well it's been a dark dreary cold day here today, hope it's better where you are! I have another round creation with a bit of sparkle for you today, to help brighten things up. I have made this one for my friends little boy, it's his first christmas and I thought this little cutie from Pollycraft was perfect!

Again I made the card blank using my new toy, I did have to trim a tiny bit off the bottom of the circle to make it stand up though lol! I coloured him with Copics and the papers and sentiment are from my Papermania - Mistletoe Kisses paper pack (getting a lot of use out of this one). I added Glossy Accent to the star and then added Gold Glamour Dust to make it super sparkly! I am entering this into Winter Wonderland Challenge - Make Your Card Sparkle.

Xmas pudding feast!

Hi everyone, sorry I have not been around for a few days but I have been busy, busy, busy! I had a lovely day at the NEC last thursday and treated myself to a Grand Calibur, which I have been playing with all day! I had wanted one of these for ages and had been saving up for one. It was well worth it, I love it!

I have another Christmas card for you today. This one is for another of my Great Nephews, Kai. I hope they all like monkeys!

I made the card shape using my new toy and used some red & green core colour card for the matting (the colours are much brighter in real life, bad camera day!). The gorgeous monkey is another one from my Pollycraft Chester set. I coloured him with Copics and the sentiment and letters are some die cuts from my Papermania - Mistletoe Kisses paper pack!

I think I overdid his cheeks a bit, lol! The theme over at Moving Along With The times this week is Food & Drink so I am going to enter this one there.

Hi everyone, just a quick post today as I am on my lunch hour. I got these fabulous Christmas Chester stamps from Pollycraft the other day and couldn't wait to use them! I have three great nephews and they will just love these designs.

I just loved making this one and it turned out as planned for once! The papers are by Papermania - Mistletoe Kisses and I coloured the gorgeous Chester with Copics. I used a brad for the corner then glued a Card Candy dot over the top as I did not have one the right colour, lol! Hi everyone, boy it's gone a bit chilly this evening, a bit of a shock after such a lovely day! Well I have been trying to get some christmas cards out of the way and this is another one done! I have made this one for my friends little girl. She likes her to have lots of pink things so I have gone for another non - traditional pink christmas card!

I have followed the fab sketch over at this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge. I have used this great Penny Black stamp which I won in a competition a while back, which I coloured with ProMarkers. The papers are by Papermania - Mistletoe Kisses and the snowflakes and icicles are Marianne Design Dies. The sentiment is computer generated and cut out using a Stampin Up Word Window punch. I added some sparkle using Glossy Accents & Glamour Dust.

Morning all. boy it's been a hectic week, I was looking forward to an extra hour in bed but guess what, I woke the same time as always, typical! Anyway I have been trying to get going with my christmas cards and I found this fabulous set of Digi Stamps over at Pink Petticoat called Tiny Trees and they are just perfect for quick CAS christmas cards. I have made a whole bunch of them for giving to work colleagues etc!

I coloured the image with copics and added some silver stickles to the star and base then added a few silver gems. So simple but effective I think! I think it qualifies for this weeks LIM challenge which is Stars, though there is only one, sorry!

Hi everyone, I don't know about you guys but I am looking forward to that extra hour in bed this weekend! Shame it means the start of dark nights though.

Anyway onto todays card, one of my friends has his birthday on halloween so I usually make him a spooky card to celebrate. This time I have used this great new image I got over at Pollycraft Designs.

I know he isn't particularly scary, but he is cute! I followed the fab sketch over at Sketch and Stash and used some great digi papers from here! I coloured the image with copics and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards, I found the metallic mesh ribbon amongst my neglected stash, must look in there more often!

Hi everyone, looks like a dreary Sunday morning here, hope it's better where you are! I have been missing in action for a couple of days as my hubby bought a new computer and we have been shifting things around. The good thing about this though is that I now have had the old one so I can blog to my hearts content! Now for today I have had a go at vintage, not one of my strong points but I think it worked out ok.

The theme is vintage over at Moving along with the times this week and over at Ladybug Crafts Ink the theme is Circles - Pink & Chocolate, so I have tied the two together for this one. I got this fab Ladybug Crafts stamp free with a mag a while back and thought she looked a bit vintage in her outfit lol! I coloured her with Copics and the papers are from an old K&Co scrap pad. I found these gorgeous metal flower brads in my forgotten stash along with the lace.

I distressed all the edges with a Tim Holtz distressing tool. Thanks for looking and will catch up with you all later but I must try and get some christmas cards made today as I am seriously behind!

Hi everyone, hope you all having a good week so far, I am apart from having to work of course! Now one of our girls at work had a baby boy on Sunday so we needed a card form us all and this is what I came up with!

Now normally I would of added babies name but unfortunately the poor boy hasn't got one yet so that was a bit of a non starter! I followed Ann's fab sketch from this weeks Pink Ink Sketch Challenge, which I really enjoyed working with and the backing paper is an old neglected one from my stash along with the buttons and ribbon.

The gorgeous image is from Lili Of The Valley, coloured with Copics. The little dots are just made using a small paper punch as I couldn't find anything else the right colours! I am also entering this one into:

Evening all, it's Make It Monday linky party time and I have decided to share this handbag card with you that I made for my friends 30th birthday ages ago and for some reason never posted till now!

If you hadn't guessed yet, she is a teacher lol! I got these fabulous papers over at Craftz Boutique, sorry but I can't remember who makes them it has been too long! The gorgeous image is from By Lori Designs and was just perfect for this project, I punched out a few flowers to add to her dress and I added the sentiment to her blackboard using a chalk font.

I made this little box for the inside to pop her pressie in!

Hi everyone, sorry but it's gonna be a quick post today as I am off to a 95th birthday party! I tried about 5 times to make a card for last weeks Less Is More challenge and failed miserably so this week I was determined to put something together. I noticed looking through all the fab entries that I am not the first to come across this fab image which I found here! so I had to alter my original idea but I am please with how it turned out!

I printed the image and sentiment directly onto the card then printed another glass to go over the top so that I could add my lemon slice which was another freebie I found here at Pink Petticoat. I cut out some green glitter paper for the drink and used various Stickles everywhere else and some glossy accents for the glass!

Evening all! Well we are having some odd weather at the moment aren't we! It cold and windy one minute and then muggy the next. I don't know about you guys but it's hard to know what to wear, summer clothes or winter! Anyhow onto today's card which I have made for a dear friend of mine who is unfortunately in hospital at the moment. Hopefully this might cheer him up a little.

I have followed the fab sketch over at this weeks Sketch N Stash Challenge. I flipped the sketch to fit this great new image I got from Meljen Designs called Sick Little Bear, he looks very sorry for himself doesn't he! I also used some neglected papers from my stash and coloured the image with Copics (definitely need more practice with those). The sentiment is from an old Stamposaurus set. I am also entering this one into Make it Monday a new one for me!

Pink Christmas!

Hi everyone, well this weekend has just flown by! We have spent all day trying to finish painting our hall and stairs and it doesn't feel like we have had a weekend at all! Glad to say though we have nearly finished just a few more hours next weekend and the whole house will finally be complete, which means I can get back to more important things like crafting lol! Now todays card was not for any particular reason, I just wanted to try out my new pens and somehow ended up doing a pink christmas card! Very unusual for me as I prefer traditional christmas colours but I quite liked it so I may try more.

The papers are from a Me To You paper pack - Winter Wonderland and I teamed it up with some silver mirri board from my stash, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and some ribbon I found in my stash too! I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and die for the snowflakes. I also added some Glamour Dust to her hat for a bit of sparkle!

I am going to enter this one into Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Sparkle & Bling.

Hi everyone, hope you are all surviving this horrible wet, windy day! Sorry I don't have a card for you today, I just wanted to show you all what my fabulous Hubby bought me for my birthday yesterday!

When I tell people I got pens for my birthday they just don't understand lol, but I was so excited and I can't wait to try them out! I use mostly ProMarkers as you all know but I tried a couple of Copics recently and loved them. I think I may have more Copics than Promarkers now though so I must learn how to use them quick! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hi folks, sorry for not catching up with you all for a couple of days but I picked up a lovely stomach bug over the weekend and have been a bit rough but I am ok now!

It's my nephew's birthday on Thursday and I thought I would have plenty of time over the weekend to make him a card, obviously that did not work out but luckily I found this fab sketch over at Pollycraft Challenge today and voila!.. problem solved!

Now my nephew loves gaming and I found this great image over at Spesch Designer Stamps last week whilst browsing the web. They have some great images, you should take a look. I used some scrap papers from my stash and added some Craftwork Cards candy and sentiment. I was not very happy with his hair but no time to change it so it will have to stay!

It's actually my birthday tomorrow, so I will catch up with you all over the next few days. Thanks for looking!

Hi everyone! Well I am supposed to be decorating but it is just too hot! So seeing as it is National Card Making Day I decided to make a card instead (will have to do the decorating tomorrow lol). It is my sisters birthday soon and she loves all things halloween so I hunted around for some papers and came up with this!

Aren't they fab papers! I found them here! The image is a new one I bought from Pollycraft called Cherry Kisses - Witch and coloured her with ProMarkers. I followed the fabulous sketch from Pink Ink Sketch Challenges and decided to use a twisted easel as I had not tried one before (shame on me). I added some faux stitching round the edges and the sentiment is computer generated. I have to say I really enjoyed making this one!

I also added some googly eyes to one of the spiders for a bit of fun, can you spot him? I am also entering this card into:

Morning folks, have you all got that Friday feeling! I certainly haven't Friday's at work always seem to drag somehow! Anyway I was asked to make a golfing card and I decided to use the fab sketch over at Sketch N Stash.

I found this great image over at Digi Stamp Boutique the other day which was perfect and I teamed it up with some neglected My Minds Eye papers. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards. I do think it looks a little plain but I could not think what else to add without it looking girly lol! Morning all! Lovely day off today, at least it will be after they have been to fit my bathroom flooring lol! Hope this weather keeps up so I can get some gardening done. Anyway I have made this card for this weeks LIM challenge, sorry I have missed a few ladies!

I have made this one using an Artemio stamp set. I simply stamped the wording in gold then stamped the sprig over the top in Brilliance pearlescent Chocolate then added some gold Glamour dust before it dried. For the sentiment I just inked the top line of the background stamp. Nice and simples but effective me thinks!

Shoe distress!

Hi everyone, I am afraid this will be my last post for a couple of weeks now as we are away for a few days and then the last of our house renovations are being done, thank goodness! It will be so nice to have the house back to normal and get crafting properly again. Thank you all for bearing with me over the past couple of months. Now onto todays card, over at Sketch N Stash this week the theme is to choose a sketch from their catalogue. I have chosen sketch number 1as follows

I needed a quick birthday card for our nephews girlfriend who just loves shoes and handbags, so I dug out my old favourite Ladybug Crafts stamp and teamed it up with some neglected papers I found in my stash!

I distressed all the edges slightly with my new Tim Holtz distressing tool (need a bit more practice me thinks!). I paper pieced the bag and part of the shoes. I used a couple of Copic pens to colour the image and added some gold Stickles here and there. The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards.

Hi everyone, boy it's windy here today! Well as I said I am trying to make the most of my craft room while it's still empty so I have made this card for Lili Of The Valley Challenge 110. Which is a fab sketch by the very talented Pops!

I have used some lovely papers from Cosmo Cricket called Pixie - Licious with one of my favourite LOTV images, coloured with ProMarkers. The sentiment is by Woodware and the flowers are from my stash. I coloured some Card Candy from Craftwork Cards with ProMarkers for the flower centres and I used part of a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the corner.

Hi everyone, hope you are all well on this lovely wet Sunday morning! Well it's been a while but I wanted to let you know I am still here! We have had the decorator and carpet fitter in and only having a small house means every time we clear a room out it all has to go in my craft room, so I have not been able to craft lately. I have managed to clear it for the moment though so I am making the most of it before the next shift around. Fingers crossed everything should be finished by the end of this month and I will be back properly. Now then over at Less Is More this week the theme is Metallic and this is what I came up with!

I have used a sheet of Medium Aluminium Art Emboss Metal. It works great in the Cuttlebug as long as you go backwards and forwards over it several times lol! The die is a Nestie called "Fleur De Lys" I think. I went for a black card base for more impact and the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards.

Hi everyone! I know.. two posts in one week..it's been a while since that happened lol! I needed a birthday card for our niece so I made myself get into my craft room and came up with this. I followed the fabulous sketch over at Pink Ink Sketch Challenges and used my fave Ladybug Crafts Ink stamp so I am entering there too!

You know when you make a card and the colour scheme sounds great in your head but in practice you are just not sure, well this is one of them! I like it one minute then not the next but I don't have time to make another so it will have to do. The papers are by Doodle Bug and the stamp is one that I won over at Ladybug Crafts Ink a while ago and just love using. It's a great stamp to paper piece with. The flowers and gems are from my stash and I used a Fiskars border punch for the edge.

Hello everyone, I won't say I'm back because every time I say that I seem to disappear again lol! This is the first time I have sat and made a card for weeks! We have been having some work done in the house as I mentioned before and have reorganised my craft room so I have not been able to do anything for a while. I have missed you all in blog land and hope to catch up with you all soon. I bet I have missed some fab creations! I have made this card for this weeks Less Is More Challenge which is to use ink.

I decided to use this very neglected Stampendous stamp called Dandie Trio. I inked it up using Versa Fine black ink then I did my least favourite thing in craft.. heat embossing! I embossed it with a clear embossing powder and then used another neglected stamp by Hobby art called Ragged Rectangle to place over the top using Wild Honey distress ink. I have never tried this before but I really liked the effect! The sentiment is by Woodware.

Morning all! Well my shoulder is finally starting to feel a bit better at last, so hopefully I can get back to you all in blogland! I have missed so many of your wonderful creations but I will visit you all over the next few days to catch up. Now over at Less Is More this week the theme is Feeling Fruity and I thought these fab, fun images by card making world were just the ticket!

I printed them directly onto my card and added a sentiment at the same time (we always give fruit to poorly peeps, so I thought it was appropriate). I coloured the images with ProMarkers and added some stickles here and there. Nice and simples!

I also wanted to show you the card I made for last weeks challenge but didn't get round to entering due to my shoulder, better late than never hey!

The flower is from an unknown old stamp set which I heat embossed then cut out and coloured with ProMarkers. The hearts are from the sane set and the sentiment is by Hero Arts. I attached the button using Glossy Accents and added a bit of ribbon to finish!

Hi everyone, yes I am still here lol! Sorry for being such a bad blogger recently but I have so much going on at the moment. I have been seeing an osteopath for a trapped nerve in my shoulder so I have been avoiding so much typing on the computer as it really aggravates it and we are also having loads of work done in the house at the mo, so I just don't seem to get any free time to craft! Hope you are all ok though and promise to try and catch up with you all soon. I did manage to make this card for my friends 30th birthday the other day. I followed the fab sketch from Sketch N Stash Challenge and I used my new Mo Manning digi stamp. My friend is learning to play the guitar and she has a little four month old baby, so I knew she would appreciate this one!

The papers are new too but I can't remember who they are by, sorry! The musical notes and stars are Cuttlebug dies and the 30 is computer generated and covered with stickles. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and also added some faux stitching.

Evening all, hope you are all well! A very quick and simple card for you today as I have nearly run out of time to enter this weeks Winter Wonderland Challenge which is Give It A Little Lift (wet or dry embossing).

I have used part of a a Cuttlebug Holly embossing folder and then coloured the raised areas with ProMarkers. Then matted with some red & green scraps of card and added a Personal Impressions sentiment. I said it was simples lol! It really doesn't look embossed in the pic but it is honest!

I am also entering this into I Love ProMarkers Challenge - Christmas in July.

2nd Post Today Please Scroll Down For My 1st

Evening all, I'm back again! I was trying to think of what to do for this weeks Less Is More Challenge - Circles, when I came across this fab little caterpillar stamp by Daisy Bucket designs. I have had it for a very long time but have never used it till now. It was just perfect for this challenge!

I don't think I could have got any more circles into this one lol! I stamped him across 3 nestie circles which I made using some snippets from my scraps drawer. The sentiment and smiley face are from a Hero Arts stamp set and the other circles are from an Artemio circles stamp set (I think). I also added some gems to his body, I think you can just about see them! As I have used my Snippets I am also going to enter into Jules Crafty Snippet Challenge 28 she makes some fabulous cards from left over scraps, you should go take a look!

Morning all, hope you are all having a great weekend. I have a new challenge for you today. It started on July 9th and is called Pink Ink Sketch Challenges! They have a fab sketch for you to follow and there are still a few days left to enter. Also over at Pollycraft Monday Challenge this week the theme is "the great outdoors" so I have combined both challenges and come up with this!

My favourite outdoor activity is gardening and this little cutie looks like she enjoys it too. The image is by Pollycraft - Flo, the simple things and I have teamed it up with some First Edition papers. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added some flowers, brads, ribbon & lace from my stash. The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards and I used Oval Nesties.

Morning all, well it looks like another wet day today, perfect for my day off lol!

Now over at Winter Wonderland challenge this week the theme is Christmas Buffet! You have to choose three items from this list:

I chose Ribbon, Snowflakes & Gems to use with my fab new stamp from a Penny Black stamp set which I won over at Penny Black Challenge last week. I thought I might be too late for this challenge but I have made it, just!

I love this image! I went for a monochrome feel with this one. I coloured the penguins with ProMarkers and used a Cuttlebug Snow embossing folder over the top. I added some tinsel ribbon from my stash and some gems. I then cut out some snowflakes using a Cuttlebug die to finish.

Thanks to a tip off from Lisa Jane I am also entering this one into Moving Along With The Times challenge - Christmas in July. A new challenge for me!

Real Sandy Beach!

Hi everyone, sorry I have not been around for a few days. Had a bit of a stressful week but I won't bore you with the details. You have certainly all been busy, it has taken me all evening to catch up with your blogs lol! I made this card over the weekend for a work colleague. It's her Dads 60th birthday soon and he lives in Cornwall so her children call him Granddad Seaside and she wanted a card from them and this is what I came up with!

The image is from a beach border set from Whimsie Doodles coloured with ProMarkers. The sand is REAL SAND which I had in my shed, long story! I covered the sand area in Glossy Accents then poured the sand over it and voila a real beach! I decoupaged the bucket, ball and spade as they were a bit lost after I added the sand and the sentiments are computer generated.

I am entering this one into Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge 35 - Summer Birthdays. This challenge runs for a whole month!

New Home!

Morning everyone, looks like another sunny day here today. I certainly need one after last night, I could not sleep for some reason, I have been up crafting since 5am. I am sure Sundays are supposed to be a lie in lol! Anyway it has given me the chance to get my entry for this weeks Less Is More challenge done. My sister-in-law asked me to make a New Home card for her Son who moves out next week. He and his girlfriend are a young couple so I wanted something modern for them and this weeks Shades Of Blue theme inspired me to create this!

I found this fab image over at Digistamp Boutique and coloured it with ProMarkers - Arctic Blue & China Blue. I then cut out a second middle house to layer it up for some dimension. I also added some glossy Accents to the roof, windows & door. I created the sentiment on the computer and punched it out with a Stampin Up-Word Window punch which I placed over the edge to break up the symmetry! I used some card scraps for the matting.

Not a very adventurous card but I am really pleased how it turned out. I shall also enter it into Digistamp Boutiques monthly competition as soon as they post it!

Hi everyone, so glad it's Friday, only one more day to work then I can enjoy the weekend. I am so tired this week, for a change! Now over at Lili of the Valley Thursday Challenge this week the theme is "Celebrate" and it gives me the perfect opportunity to share this special card with you. I made this a few weeks ago for my friends 30th birthday tomorrow and have been dying to show it to you all, as I am quite proud of it, for once! I first saw one of these cards a while ago but thought it looked too complicated to make. Then I saw one again over at Dena's Blog, (I think you will agree she is uber talented) and it encouraged me to have a go. She has a link to the instructions there too!

As Dena says it really isn't as tricky as it first looks and well worth the effort! The image is of course by LOTV and the papers are by First Edition - Love Letters. I created the sky by following Bev Rochester's tutorial and added some faux stitching. I used a heart shaped die for the candle box aperture. I have since added a sentiment but did not get round to taking a new pic. I coloured the image with ProMarkers. I found the candles in my kitchen draw!

Pink Christmas?

Hi everyone, well I'm much happier now it's cooler! Hope you are all well and having a good week. I have had a busy one as usual but day off tomorrow so can't complain. Now I have a christmas card for you today but don't panic it's ages away yet lol! Over at Winter Wonderland Challenge this week the theme is "Pretty In Pink" and I have used the fab sketch by Vicky from the Sketch N Stash Challenge. Then last but not least Ladybug Crafts Ink are having a "Christmas in June" blog hop this week to celebrate the release of their new christmas stamps, so I am entering there too!

I have used this fab image from Pollycraft which is very neglected as I have had it for ages and never used it, shame on me! The papers are also very old and neglected, so old that I don't know who makes them. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added a few swirls. The snowflakes are a Marianne Design die which I coated in Glossy Accents sprinkled with Glamour Dust. I also used a snow embossing folder on the background but it doesn't really show! I don't usually do pink christmas cards but I actually quite like this one!

Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!

Hi everyone, I hate to be a misery but I do hope it cools down soon! It was so hot at work today, I don't think I can cope with another unless someone gets us some air con! Anyway today's card is nice and summery to match the weather. I have used the fabulous sketch from The Sugar Bowl Challenge 62 and my favourite Sugar Nellie image.

The papers are from Cosmo Cricket and called Pixie-Licious. I coloured the image with ProMarkers and a couple of Copics for her hair. It was the first time I have tried Copics and was quite impressed, will have to buy some more me thinks! The flowers are form my stash and the sentiment is by Penny Black I think!

I am also entering this one into I Love ProMarkers Challenge 71 - Anything Goes.

Peek-A-Boo!

Hi everyone! Boy, it's hot, hot, hot here today, hope it is where you are! Well it's that time of the week again where we are all racking our brains for the LIM challenge, which this week is a fabulous sketch! Before I go onto my entry this week though I must say a huge thank you to all the fabulous comments you left me last week, I was overwhelmed by how many comments I received. It seems you all love frogs! For this week I have decided to use this fab little cat from Penny Black.

Rather than use the whole stamp (as it did not fit the sketch) I decided to play peek-a-boo with him. I stamped him three times than used a circle nestie to cut them out at different sections. I coloured them with ProMarkers and added some Stickles to the balloons. For the sky I followed the very talented Bev Rochester's tutorial which you can find here! I need a bit more practice though I think! I then added some faux stitching which means it also fits the Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week and added a Hero Arts sentiment!

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I have a day off tomorrow thank goodness, I don't know why but I seem to get busier and busier at work these days, though I suppose I should be grateful to have a job so I won't go on! Now over at Pollycraft Challenge this week the theme is Travel/Holidays! At first I had no idea what to do but then I saw Joey's fab creation and it gave me some much needed inspiration. We love visiting London and my husband is keen photographer so this is what I came up with!

The image is by Pollycraft -Maurice Say Cheese and I found this free London colouring page on the internet and coloured them both with ProMarkers and a Metallic gold pen. I then added a Ticket Sentiment by LOTV and used a Red, White & Blue theme as it was London!

I am also entering this one into Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge as their theme is to use Red!

Christmas Flowers!

Hi everyone, just a quick post today as I am on my lunch hour! Over at Winter Wonderland Challenge this week the theme is Christmas Flowers. I found this fab free digi image on the internet and went for a clean and simple design.

Sorry the pic is a bit dark, blame the weather! I coloured the image with ProMarkers, added some Glossy Accents to the flower edges using a Quickie Glue Pen and added some gold gems to the centre. The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards layered using circle nesties!

F for frogs!

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been around much but I've been so tired being back at work this week. Going to try and get some crafting done this weekend starting with this card. Over at Less Is More this week the theme is "Monogram". I was completely stumped with this one at first but then I saw the theme over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge was "Pesky Critters" and this idea came to me. They also have a 3rd Birthday blog hop going on there this week!

The letter F is computer generated but I forgot to note the font sorry! I then stamped the frogs from Penny Black's Toadily stamp set and coloured with ProMarkers - Leaf Green, Grass, Almond, Powder Blue & Cool Grey 1. The F could be for Frog's, Father of even someone's name but my initial intention was Frogs!

Pot Pourri House!

Morning all, looks like we are in for a wet few days but the rain isn't here yet so fingers crossed they may be wrong! Now over at Diva's By Design their challenge is Anything But A Card. So I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share something I made a while ago with you! My friend was moving house and I wanted to make something a bit different for her and also she kept telling me that her new house needed lots of air fresheners as it had been empty for a while lol! So I got this fab house template from Craftwork Cards, decorated it and filled it with Pot Pourri so she could hang it up round the house and she loved it!

I punched out a couple of windows using a circle punch and added some acetate to them. I also punched some holes in the roof for the scent to come through. The papers and embellishments are from my stash. and the sentiment is by Lili Of The Valley. I added some Craftwork Card Candy to the roof edges.

Hi everyone, well my time off has come to an end, back to work tomorrow! I have really enjoyed the rest though but I suppose it can't last forever. Now over at Pollycraft Challenge this week the theme is Ribbon & Flowers but they are also having a DT call which you can enter over at Pollycraft Blog. They are giving away two fabulous digi stamps, one of which I have used here.

How cute is this little fellow! I coloured him with ProMarkers - Amethyst, Lavender, Pear Green, Powder Blue & Copic E25 and teamed him up with my new Cosmo Cricket - Pixie-licious paper pad and my new Marianne Design die for the flower. I added Glossy Accents to the button centre and covered with Glamour Dust, though the pic does not do it justice!

I also added some faux stitching and a charm from my stash.

I am also entering this one into Gem of a Challenge - Flowers & Charms.
