Monster Xmas!

I have used this fabulous Digistamp image - Monster Christmas

Rockin Robins!

Hi everyone, just popped by to share some quick and simple cards I made using this weeks fab sketch from Freshly Made Sketches

As you can see I flipped the sketch around to suit.

The gorgeous Robins are from Digistamp Boutique - Cute Robin Chicklets which I coloured with Copics. Then I just added some Kraft card, some twine and some Wooden snowflakes. I stamped the wording using a stamp from my stash and finished off with my usual faux stitching and some Glamour Dust.

Christening Owls!

Evening all, I have a bit of a project to share with you today. I was looking for a unique Christening gift for a friends little girl and after searching the internet I decided to make something myself.

I knew that my Silhouette Cameo was capable of cutting out fabric but had never tried it so I thought it was time to put it to the test. I bought a couple of fabric fat quarters when I went to the NEC and also picked up some Silhouette clean cut fabric interfacing and gave it a try along with this Lori Whitlock owl file from the Silhouette store.

I bought the box frame from the internet. I cut out the owl shapes from the spotty material and cut out the owl bellies from floral fabric with my Cameo after ironing on the interfacing. Then I cut out 6 more owl shapes from thick card stock with my Cameo and stuck the fabric shapes onto the thick card by ironing them on.
I then cut out the eyes feet and beaks from cardstock and glued those on after. I then printed the wording onto a piece of A4 card using my pc and attached the owls with silicone glue to raise them and added a couple of gems to finish. I was so pleased at how it turned out and I will definitely try it again someday!

It was quite hard to photograph and the colours look much better in real life but hopefully you get the idea.

Pink Gem Christmas Makes!

Hi everyone, now just when I thought I was getting somewhere with my Christmas makes I got a phone call from a friend wanting a few Christmas cards for her families children. I said ok no problem and then found out she wanted "8" arghh!

I got to thinking how I could make them quick and simple to save time and decided that Janet's brilliant pre-coloured Pink Gem Designs images would be just perfect! So I had a free evening last night and got to work on them and here they are!

For The Boy's

For The Girl's

For the little one's

I used these images from Pink Gem Designs

I just teamed them up with papers from my stash, I cut out the names with my Cameo, added some faux stitching and Glitter for the girls and voila, job done!
