Sweet Treats and a Goodbye!

Good morning everyone, it is time for a new challenge over at

and the theme this time is "Sweet Treats" so plenty of scope for your imagination on this one!

I am sorry to say that this will be my final post as a DT member of A Gem Of A Challenge as I have decided to step down from the team. I just don't have enough spare time at the moment to offer them the commitment they deserve.

Anyway onto my card which I have made using one of Pink Gems fabulous images - Cupcake Maisy

I used the pre-coloured version which I print and cut out using my Cameo. I then made the cupcake card base using a Silhouette file and I colour matched the pieces using the colour picker to match Maisy perfectly. I then just popped on some Craftwork Cards Card Candy and sentiment to finish!

I do hope you can all come and join in on my last challenge!

Many thanks to all the team at A Gem Of A Challenge, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you all!!

In The Garden!

Hi everyone, I hope you have all been enjoying the lovely weather. I have been making the most of it and getting my garden sorted out ready for the summer, I had forgotten how much hard work gardening was though!
Anyway I have a little something to show you today which I have made for my mum's upcoming birthday. I like to make her something different each year so I decided to make a bendy card as I have only ever made one before now.

I cut out the card base using a Silhouette cameo file by Samantha Walker. I added the grass using another silhouette file and then I used this gorgeous new image from Digistamp Boutique - Sweet Bird House. I coloured the image with Copics and used my print and cut feature on my cameo to cut it out. I did the same with the other flowers and butterflies which are also from Digistamp Boutique.

I then used my silhouette to cut out some bunting from fabric and attached it to some twine and used a bamboo skewer to make a pole. Then I used some rub on letters to make the sign. I had forgotten how much fun these were to make!

Flower Pot Kitty!

Evening everyone, hope you all had a good weekend! I have a little card to share with you which I made by merging several Digistamp Boutique images!

I used Pretty garden flower set, In the garden flowers and the little kitty is from this gorgeous new Cute Kitty set!

I have actually merged a couple of these images together before but when I saw the cute kitty I knew he would look perfect sticking out of the plant pot so I had another go! I merged all the images using my computer then coloured everything in with Copics and and a touch of glitter. The sentiment is computer generated.

Horsing Around!

Morning everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at

and this weeks theme is "A Shaped Card - Anything But Square"

The prize as always is

2 Individual Digi images
(NO SETS, PERSONALISED WATERMARK'S OR SENTIMENT SETS)
of the winners choice from PINKGEM DESIGNS.....

Fo my card I used one of Janet's fabulous pre-coloured images from Pink Gem Designs - Horse Riding Chloe

I opened the image in my Silhouette Cameo software and with a bit of tracing and outlining I managed to print and cut the image out into a horse shaped card. I then printed and cut out Chloe and attached her to the front using some foam pads for dimension. I added a rub on letter to her hat to personalise it!

Do come and join us at A Gem Of A Challenge, I can't wait to see all your shaped creations!

Gaming Fun!

Hi everyone, I needed a super quick card for a little boy's birthday and one of Janet's new fabulous card topper digi kits from Pink Gem Designs saved the day!

The digi kit is called Gaming Andy which is available HERE! I used my Cameo to print and cut out all the elements and added the name to one of the blank shapes using a silhouette sketch pen. I then attached it to some blue card stock and layered all the pieces up with some silicone glue and voila panic over!

Key-Bored Fun!

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well. I have just popped on to share a card with you which I made for my Hubby's birthday last week. I put my Cameo to good use again!
As some of you know he is a computer engineer so I decided to make a computer themed card. I found this brilliant print and cut SVG file Control Alt Delete from the Key-Bored range of files available from SVG Cutting Files.

I then found this great Laptop cutting file by Lori Whitlock on the Silhouette Store which I edited to create a card blank from and then finished off by using a white Silhouette sketch pen in my Cameo to add the wording!
